FamilyLife Retreat

Jamie and I attended the FamilyLife Retreat, "A Weekend to Remember" this past weekend. I can't say enough about the great time we had, the great message they gave, and the great life we will have together. This retreat is focused on God's plan for marriage and is focused on couples who are dating (although we were the only ones in this category this past weekend), engaged, married, and maybe even about to divorce. There were couples who had been married for 2 1/2 weeks and 42 years attending. What we loved so much about it was that even if your relationship was strong, you learned ways you could enrich it...and if it was troubled, ways to fix it.

We both took so much away from it and are truly excited about the changes that are happening in our relationship. We can already see that the areas that were good are stronger, and the areas that were needing a little bit of work are completely attainable.

For anyone interested in enriching your relationship, you should check out the information on the following website. We are so glad we attended and would highly recommend others to attend as well! http://www.familylife.com

Kim and Jamie, that is sooooooooo awesome!!! They are coming to Des Moines too and our church offers a sign up every year as well, we have always wanted to go, but this year it is the same time as our get together with Papa. Maybe next year!! So are there going to be wedding bells anytime in the near future??

I am SO GLAD you got to go!!! Tim and I loved it so much and we believe it truly is a relationship-changing experience!!!! I would recommend this weekend for anyone in a committed relationship. It may seem like a big financial obstacle for a weekend but the money spent is well worth it. You are investing in more than a weekend; you are making an investment for a lifetime!!!!
